Where do celebrity gossip blogs get their photos from?

Where do the celebrity gossip blogs (for example, tmz.com, perezhilton.com, thesuperficial.com, etc.) get their photos from. They photos are always up-to-date and relevant.





If I wanted to get similar photos for my blog at a low cost, where could I find them. Please don't tell me Flickr because I have looked and the only photos under the Creative Commons license aren't worth using.

Where do celebrity gossip blogs get their photos from?
It varies. Sites such as Perez Hilton get new paparazzi pictures for paying a fee to sites such as X17, Splash, Getty, who specialise in pap pictures.





Other sites which are not as popular (ie Just Jared, Trent) obtain new paparazzi pictures from the public domain, basically anywhere on the internet.





Celebrity forums usually post untagged high quality paparazzi pictures as quick as one day after they were taken.

Reply:I believe they get it from either the paparazzi or they get it from a magazine's official website. Like people.com puts up their pictures before the magazine itself comes out, which makes it easy for Perez or TMZ to get it. If you want to get these pictures, just go to People.com %26gt; Celebs %26gt; [celebname] %26gt; Photos. And you have a great selection of photos right there!
