What the hell is a blog? If it's something like I think it might be, who cares what people feel about the movie they saw last night? How their date went, did they get lucky at the club last night? What they ate for breakfast.
And... Who even reads other people's blogs anyways? Why do you care if somebody is pissed because of the high prices of the you tube cell phone or whatnot.
What the hell are blogs?
Its useful when you share some good technical or knowledgeable articles/ source of articles with the visitors. If that is not the case then I would agree to you that its useless.
For me helping out people and enriching peoples knowledge is one of the good uses of blog. like I have created the blog http://networkloadbalancing.blogspot.com . It helps people to get all the information related to Windows NLB at one place. This has helped many in learning NLB and toubleshoot NLb problems. I have another blog http://helpthehungry.blogspot.com for helping a social cause. I hope now you can think how a blog can be useful or useless.
Reply:Well why do movie critics write things in the paper about the movies they saw? Or why do some stupid news anchors think we want to know about the news? Or why does Oprah think we even care about books? Blogs are just a way for people to express an opinion. I like reading other people's opinions about things. Therefore I like blogs.
Reply:This is just a rant. If you don't like them don't read them. Or read some of the less frivolous blogs - there are plenty that deal with real problems, injustices and abuses.
