I would like to look up old friends through their blog postings. Is there a way to search for the names of people who have posted on blogs? I would like to enter the name of an old friend (Joe Blow, say) and see all of his postings. Is there a way to do this?

Just type in their name and Google or Yahoo will check the database and come up with anywhere between zero and 268,421 listings.
However, your friends could also be using "screen" names as a lot of companies are laying off employees who blog about their work. So . . . . if you know the name they are using, do your search with that name.
If you know their interests you can look under that also.
The problem with all these choices is there are sooooooo many people on the Internet you are going to get a lot of hits.
