Why do democrats like blogs so much?

Do you notice democrats just love blogs like dailykos and huffingtonpost. They get on these things and love to act like they know it all. You should see the comments these people leave.

Why do democrats like blogs so much?
That's where they get all of their ..uh hum..facts.
Reply:They need the blogs because no one wants to listen to them. Ever notice that those who least should be heard are the loudest?
Reply:These are troubled times, and both dems and republicans are blogging. You're doing it here, in a primitive sort of way.

I wouldn't say the comment was "gay" since it has nothing to do with sex. But I would say that it's quasi academic double speak.
Reply:and Right Wing nut jobs just tune into AM radio to get brainwashed everyday.

your point is what Democrats have ideas and comments

Right wing nut jobs can't think for them self's so they have Rush and Sean and others like them to tell them what to think.
Reply:If they talked to people in the "real world" the same way they do on blogs there would be far less Democrats in the world.

It's a matter of self preservation.
Reply:Conservatives blog all the time

"The Internet makes possible an entirely new form of the "public sphere" or "polis"--a truely national forum where anyone can participate in an ongoing discourse and communication/networking, with the opportunity to exchange and advocate ideas, organize political action, etc."

this is what im talking about. How gay is this!!!

What you are quoting sounds like a town hall meeting -- you think THAT is GAY??
Reply:I hate blogs! They eat people and there was a bad movie about one!

...oh, sorry. That was a blob. My bad!
Reply:Easier to read what others think than to find their own answer. laziness.
Reply:I am not into the whole blogging thing. I rather have a discussion. I took a political science class, and before I got kicked out, I enjoyed it. Dialogs are fun because you can engage in the conversation. Blogs are boring.
Reply:Individually, that's bound to be true in some cases. However, what the "cons" don't realize is te wider signifiggance. The Internet makes possible an entirely new form of the "public sphere" or "polis"--a truely national forum where anyone can participate in an ongoing discourse and communication/networking, with the opportunity to exchange and advocate ideas, organize political action, etc.

Certainly, many bloggers are not fully aware of these ramifications. But--for a variety of reasons--those who tend to be liberal--and so Democrat--are well ahead of tthe conservatives in utilizing this new public arena. Its pure democracy--opinionated, messy, cconfusing--but, as we are beginnig to see, extraordinarily effective in spreading political information and ideas.

And it is thus very possibly the end of the line for the "neoconservatives." :)
Reply:lol...why do you care?

There is the X button top right if you are using windows

and there is the X button on top left if your a mac user...

I think the next quote is very similar to people like you: "If you dont like it, leave" well, that can be applied to your situation...just dont look so hypocritical
Reply:"this is what im talking about. How gay is this!!!"

Do I need to point out how worthless your question/comment is? I don't think so.
Reply:Because:

It gives them something to do while waiting for their Welfare Check to arrive.

Reading Blogs is easier than going out of the house and getting a Job!
Reply:I have. These people are no smarter then the average dog.
Reply:blogs are 'hip'... tend to attract more people coming into voting age... same thing with other media... come on, when you were a kid who thought that saving the world meant goodness and fuzzy bunnies - who were you more likely to hold as a role model... your parents? a republican like newt gingrich? or someone super-duper groovy like that guy in 'people' magazine that's helping the starving kids and donated his time and money to help other countries %26amp; hates "the man? especially when you JUST saw his movie, and it, like, totally rocked....

.

i can go on, but i won't. rational people already know what i'm talking about. the naive seem to be pretty good at hitting the thumbs down icon within the first few sentences of an answer they disagree with.
Reply:There are loads of neo con blogs -- go find your own kind if you can't handle free exchange of ideas. I understand the comment made by your question and it seems you are a fascist who would limit free speech to those of similar ilk.
