Do you follow any blogs?

I have never even seen a freaking blog. Yet blogs are all I hear about.

Do you follow any blogs?
Blogs are so AWESOME!!! Don't let these guys tell you any different! It really depends what you are into! There are blogs specifically for parenting. . .there are blogs specifically for healthy eating. . .and there are GOSSIP BLOGS! That's my cup of tea. . .celebrity gossip! My absolute favorite is www.celebritybabylon.com I also have to check perezhilton.com at least six times a day! I will list some other blogs in my source list. You can also go to google and put in your topic that you are interested in and click on search blogs. . .it is cool. . .because usually the blogs that you are interested in will list a bunch of other ones as "friends" or on their blog roll. Have fun! and also make sure to check out my favorite. . .www.celebritybabylon.com

BTW. . .lots of celebrities have their own blogs, like Madonna, Tommy Lee, umm Courtney Love, Roseanne, Rosie O'Donnell. . .the list goes on and on!
Reply:i follow quite a few almost religiously.
Reply:never been on a blog or in a chatroom...unless THIS is one
Reply:same blog.
Reply:You've asked a really good question !

And of the 12 answers you got 10 said they never read a blog or that they were a bore.

YET many blogs get hundreds of hits per day. One guy's blog was so good they paid him $50,000 for it (of course he has to keep on writing the good stuff each year for that money.

Ann Coulter, for example, writes a blog and is paid millions, even though her opinions are often very negative toward anyone who does not agree with her own opinion.

I believe that blogs have their place. They are like columnists in your daily paper. In the paper I read, there are 20 columnists. I read threeof them every day and love every world they write. Their blogs are what makes me boiy the paper for $300 a year.

And, of course there are those who just blabber. We all have friends who are like that, don't we, guys or gals who don't have any real knowledge but lots of opinions about everything. C'est la vive !
Reply:Yes, especially the ones that belong to published authors. Since I write, I feel a sense of connection to bloggers who, having already been published, write/blog about the effort it takes to do it again.

Nobody wants to be a one-hit wonder, and blogs are a way, for published authors at least, to connect with their fans.

Oh, and by the way, I periodically blog myself. (I won't plug my blog here). I blog more than I participate in the Yahoo Answers.

It can be very therapeutic. On Blogger, It's like having your own free webpage to have a forum to say whatever you need to say if you have no place to say it. You can get greater exposure if you want it.
