Can myspace.com blogs be supeanoed as evidence?

north carolina rape case where allegged victim (a minor) admits through chats on myspace.com numerous times that she falsely accused a man of rape. Can myspace be ordered to authenticate the blogs and origin of them?

Can myspace.com blogs be supeanoed as evidence?
Yes. And I doubt, especially since being under media pressure, that they would attempt to challenge the judge's order.
Reply:Yes.... absolutely. A ham sandwich can be subpoenaed as evidence. What the prosecution or defence lawyers do with it is a different story.

they do it a lot and if your in that deep they can also take your computer and if you use google will google co. keeps record of every thing an who used it what they looked up all the info they need to put your *** in jail so good luck an dont try an delete it coz they can find out the law is alot bigger tan we are
Reply:Yes. It's just like a diary, anything that can show a persons intent or state of mind and can be authenticated is fair game.
Reply:YES! Almost anything that can be traced can be subpoenaed as evidence.
Reply:Yes. I've had a similar case with a myspace accout. They can be ordered to produce and authenticate blogs, but it requires a search warrant.
