How to get email notification of updates on blogs that I read regularly?

I know that there are sites out there where you can sign up and give links or whatever to all the blogs you like to read, and the site sends an email or something to you when one of your friend's blogs is updated ... How do I go about finding such a site, and which are the best ones?

Feedburner and Zookoda (among others) offer rss-to-email services for bloggers, so you may want to check if your content providers are offering e-mail subscriptions through those services.





On a slightly different tack... Bloglines will keep your master list of feeds and has multiplatform "notifiers" available... not exactly email, but still an interrupt driven approach.





Finally, your email client may be a good bet. Yahoo Mail offers RSS feeds alongside your inbox.
